V5 marks the dawn of the next generation for MMT
What does that mean for you?

Complete re-write & re-build.
Equally however, the V4 → V5 will require some level of self migration on your part.
The following FAQs should clarify what will and will not be be migrated to V5.
Can I still access V4?
Yes. V4 is sill fully accessible at https://legacy.mmt.gg. This V4 environment will be maintained in parallel with V5 https://app.mmt.gg for a period of a couple of weeks.
Will my layouts be imported into V5?
No. 'Layouts' have been replaced with 'Workspaces'. This is a core change under-the-hood to allow far more extensibility in the future. As V4's layouts are not compatible within V5 as a workspace, you will need to re-create your original layout, as a workspace in V5. Yes - we know this is not ideal, but a migration simply isn't compatible. Therefore, you will have 2 weeks in which you can run both V4 & V5 in parallel, allowing you to perform a manual migration yourself.
Will my scripts be imported into V5?
Yes - providing your script was updated to use @version=2 scripting released in March, it will be present within V5. To prevent a state conflict between V4 & V5, script editing has been disabled in V4. Message support if you require access to a @version=1 script.
When will V4 be sunset?
Around the July 18, 2026. The final date is still to be decided, but there will be a minimum of 2 weeks from today (July 4, 2026) in which you will have time to migrate your workflow from V4 → V5. After this sunset date, V4 will be sunset and no longer accessible.
I'm having trouble logging into V5?
V5 uses the same credentials as V4, so use the same login method on V5. If you are having any issues ensure you fully clear your cookies & cache and then retry. If you are still experiencing issues reach out to one of the team on Discord.
I've found a bug / x feature is missing from V5 - where should I report this?
V5 is close to parity with V4. Any reported missing features or bugs within V5 are being shipped in multiple updates throughout each day. To report something head over to the new Feedback Area.
